AUSTRALIAN SANDALWOOD…
WHO WE ARE
We are an Aboriginal led not-for-profit that aims to regenerate, restore and conserve Australian Sandalwood in WA by supporting Traditional Owner management of Sandalwood Lands.
We work alongside Aboriginal entities, such as Registered Native Title Prescribed Body Corporates (RNTBCs), Aboriginal Corporations, and other Aboriginal-led entities that are Traditional Custodians of Australian Sandalwood lands of WA.
WHO WE WORK WITH
OUR PURPOSE
We are here to regenerate, restore and conserve Australian Sandalwood in WA that grows under the Custodianship of future and current Traditional Owners.
“Through the foundation, named after my dad, we want to remind the young people who they are and where they come from. We’re hoping that we can continue to inspire our peoples so they can be proud and they can continue on that responsibility of caring for the trees, and the land – everything, so that it’s there for the future.
Our old people passed it onto us, and we want to look after it so that it’s there for future generations, and our land is kept special.”
